Description:
When I was in Japan in 2002. To have a show of my work at two German style Restaurants I saw many things that inspired me to do this and similar work. Mr Haruki Sakuraba a japanese artist I met at Vermont Studio many years ago invited me for this show which he arranged.
One of the Restaurants was called Einhorn,a german word meaning unicorn. I made Two Spirits in part because the Japanese often clap their hands to waken up the spirits so they will listen to ones prayer. I imagined what the spirits might look like.
