Random Landscape originated by tracing the shadows of maple leaves cast on the ground one evening in Johnson, Vermont. Later various spaces were filled with glimpses of local landcapes of Vermont. I liked the way the red of the barn is strewn throughout the work. the shapes of the maple leaves became the vehicle to tell about the area. Realism and abstraction are combined in a fanciful way.
