Sea Horse Reef,an under water water color painting was done on a trip to a workshop in Ruskin, Florida.
Objects supplied by the instructor as well as photographs were used to create the invironment for the sea horses. Someof the details are flora that would ever be found underwater. One can say that realism and fantasy are combined as in manyof Mr Volk's work.
